How To: Update Adobe / Keeps Asking for Admin Password

IT KEEPS ASKING FOR AN ADMINISTRATOR PASSWORD WHEN DOWNLOADING ADOBE
 
Students should not download any applications that have not been approved by ISS or requested of them by a teacher.  

For some applications the district will "push down" all installations and updates to the devices.  Students can access these updates while they have an internet connection.  
  • Click on the red flame (file kiosk) in the upper righthand corner of your screen and make sure you have installed all FileWave updates.  
  • You may have to shutdown your computer after you have installed an update if it’s still not working properly. 
  • A word of caution - do not try to download all updates at one time. Installs have to queue for downloading/installation and if everyone is trying to do the same thing it may take a while or not happen at all.  In fact, if the red flame disappears don't panic.  It will return when the wireless traffic slows down.
