How To: Request a MacBook for a New Student

Requesting a MacBooks for a new student
*Note:  All MacBooks moving from one location to another must be documented in a work order
  1. Open a Work order for each request of a New Student MacBook
  2. Use the Class - Mac Laptop Request
  3. In the Subject enter the following information:
    1. School Abbreviation
    2. Type in "New Student Macbook Request"
    3. Type in Student Name, Student ID and Grade
    4. Copy the student information into the details section
  4. Submit the work order
  5. The Technician will transfer the work order to the deployment team
  6. Once deployment prepares a macbook for the student, they will notify the technician to pick it up
  7. The Technician will deliver the MacBook to requesting school and deliver to the BLC or person handling deployment to the student
  8. The Technician will close work order
