How to: Fix "Your Connection is not Private" Message on Windows Desktop not joined to AD

This error is due to a zscaler certificate update needed
(This should not happen on a Windows Device that has been joined to the Domain.  These instructions only apply to non-domain joined devices.  It is recommended that if your device is not joined to the domain that your technician reimage the device so that it can be managed and updated properly.)
Do the following:

  1. Go to the>Departments>Digital Teaching and Learning>Zscaler - ZScaler: How to use ZScaler Filter - Install Certificate
  2. Click on Start and type in Internet Options
  3. Open Internet Options
  4. Click on "Content" tab
  5. Click Certificates Button
  6. Click Trusted Root Certificate
  7. Click Import
  8. Click Next
  9. Browse for the zscaler certificate in your downloads folder
  10. Select certificate
  11. Click Open
  12. Click Next
  13. Certificate will install
  14. Go back to google or safari and your gmail should load
