  1. Click on the "Menu" icon, the three horizontal bars in the top right corner of the browser.
  2. Select "Options" (Windows) or "Preferences" (OS X).
  3. Select "Privacy" from the icons along the top.
  4. Select the "clear your recent history" link.
  5. For "Time range to clear:", choose "Everything"
  6. Expand the "Details" area if necessary by clicking on the arrow pointing downward. If it is already expanded it will point upward.
  7. In the pop up window, check "Cache", "Cookies", and anything else you'd like to clean.
  8. Click "Clear Now".
  9. Restart your browser.
Note: OS X users: Ensure the browser is fully closed before restarting. This can be done by selecting "Quit Firefox" from the "Chrome" drop-down menu along the top menu bar, by right-clicking the icon in the dock and selecting "Quit", or by using keyboard shortcut "command+Q".
